Course Playing Tips

Hole 1, Par 4 (255 m)
A short Par 4, long hitters may go for the green, or laying up short right side of fairway will leave short iron to a green sloping left to right.

Hole 2, Par 4 (423 m)
Long Par 4 that can be easily reached in two by the long hitter. Premium is on accuracy from the tee with a gentle draw to gain optimum distance. For the shorter hitter finding the fairway followed by a long iron and wedge should then see the green reached in regulation.

Hole 3, Par 4 (329 m)
A slight dog leg right that requires a good drive down the right hand side to permit an unimpeded line to the flag. Fairway bunkers on the right protect this line and a large gum tree guards the front left side of the green and will collect any poorly hit mid to short iron approach.

Hole 4, Par 3 (190 m)
A long Par 3 where par is a very goof score. The small green is guarded by a very large bunker to the left.

Hole 5, Par 5 (452 m)
Tight driving hole protected by a fairway bunker on the right 230 metres from the tee. Finding the fairway from the tee leaves a downhill shot to a green that can be attacked with a fairway wood or long iron. An accurate second will leave a short iron or wedge approach.

Hole 6, Par 3 (152 m)
Elevated Par 3 green over a creek well guarded by bunkers. You will be shooting towards the golfers in the clubhouse so bring your A game on this hole.

Hole 7, Par 5 (480 m)
Uphill Par 5 with 2 fairly straight forward shots but do not miss the green left or over the back with your approach.

Hole 8, Par 4 (283 m)
A short Par 4 with Fairway bunkering left and right. A straight drive will give you a short iron to a large green or an iron from the tee will take fairway traps out of play.

Hole 9, Par 3 (155 m)
A solid Par 3 with pot bunkering guarding front and left of green. A wayward shot right og green may find the creek, so a mid iron to the green is worthy shot.

Hole 10, Par 4 (317 m)
Narrow driving hole for this Par 4 to an elevated green for a short to mid iron second shot. The green is well guarded by 4 bunkers with a water hazard.

Hole 11, Par 3 (168 m)
A mid to long iron for this Par 3 with a small green sloping back to front. Below the hole is best option here.

Hole 12, Par 4 (363 m)
An average length Par 4 with a slight down-slope made difficult by narrowing fairways and some tough bunkering on the left.

Hole 13, Par 5 (441 m)
Long hitters may drive over the left fairway trap off the tee and have a long iron to a small green surrounded by bunkers. The creek also comes into play for this shot. Laying up will leave a short iron or pitch shot to a firm green.

Hole 14, Par 4 (316 m)
Driving the ball right of the gum tree will leave a short to mid iron here. Second shot should be right of the flag as a bunker guards the left.

Hole 15, Par 4 (336 m)
A tee shot left of the fairway traps will leave a short to mid iron to a generous green guarded front and left with traps.

Hole 16, Par 4 (330 m)
Plenty of room right for this tee shot. Taking the left bunkers out of play will leave a short iron to a small green sloping front to back.

Hole 17, Par 3 (133 m)
One or two clubs longer for the Par 3 with an elevated green and bunkers on the right. A long tee shot here makes for a difficult pitch.

Hole 18, Par 5 (446 m)
A tight driving hole with the creek winding down the right. Long hitters may reach the green in two. A long iron or fairway metal will leave a short iron to a green well undulated.
