The approach shot to the 9th hole at Kingston Heath evokes different emotions. The aesthetic beauty of the perfectly manicured fairways combines well with the rough edged bunkers and colorful and established flora to distract the golfer from the short yet challenging approach shot.
Kingston Heath is that kind of golf course. Subtle in appearance yet with teeth when it wants to. I constantly marvel at how such a varied golf course has been laid out over a relatively flat and small parcel of land.
You will hear me talking a lot about the Melbourne Sandbelt (too much some will say!) but I never tire of the high quality, varying style of courses in this region. If you are planning a golf holiday to Melbourne let us help you play some of these wonderful courses and you will see why I am so passionate about the courses in our backyard.
