TOUR DETAILS

The Best of South Africa is a GOLFSelect fully escorted tour in association with our South African travel partner. The tour itinerary begins in one of the most thrilling places on Earth, Kruger National Park. We will spend 4 nights under a canopy of sparkling African stars in luxury suites at Jock Safari Lodge, experiencing the thrill of six game drives expecting to see the Big Five on multiple occasions.

Fancourt is next for 4 nights in the five star boutique guest house within the hotel, The Manor House, whose eighteen suites are pampered with 24-hour butler service and complimentary luxury courtesy car within 10km radius.  This is South Africa's famous Garden Route region, with the name coming from the ecologically diverse vegetation encountered here and the numerous lagoons and lakes dotted along the coast.  You will want to visit Knysna, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn and nearby Cango Caves, Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley.

Days 9 and 10 will explore the Cape Winelands from Stellenbosch at the Lanzerac Estate Hotel, a private 300-year-old working wine estate in the Jonkershoek Valley.  After a day of wine touring and a day of golf, we'll reach Cape Town and the renowned Cape Grace Hotel for our final 4 nights in South Africa.

The golf is equally exotic.  All six clubs are among the country's top 40, including #1 Fancourt - The Links, and #2 Leopard Creek, located on Kruger's southern border and surrounded by indigenous bushveld where wild life sightings are common place.
