Meet Our Team

Gary Lisbon

Managing Director and Owner

Gary is the owner of GOLFSelect, having started the business 22 years ago after a number of years as a chartered accountant working for a large city firm. A love of golf and strong contacts within the golf industry, combined with increasing requests from friends and clients saw Gary, and his wife Maureen, form GOLFSelect â€“ a business designed to help golfers experience the best golf in the world, wherever that might be with custom, bespoke itineraries.

Gary is also a member of the illustrious US Golf Magazine World Top 100 ranking panel, a panel charged with the responsibility of ranking the best golf courses on the planet and having visited and played over 500 golf courses in 22 countries around the world is well placed to advise the ideal golf itinerary.

Maureen Lisbon Financial Controller

Maureen is our Financial Controller and oversees all things financial. A chartered accountant with over 21 years of experience for a number of major financial and accounting institutions, Maureen brings a wealth of experience to this very important area within GOLFSelect.

Matthew Ridge Golf Travel Manager

Matthew has been working with GOLFSelect since 2001 and in his role as Golf Holiday Manager oversees and manages golf holidays on behalf of our clients. Matthew's passion is arranging group itineraries to many world class golfing destinations and his exceptional customer service is something our clients keep telling us about! Matthew is your man if you want a memorable golf holiday where nothing is too much trouble.

Richard Morgan Golf Travel Specialist

Richard works with Matthew and Linda in the GOLFSelect Holiday team and brings with him an unbridled enthusiasm to do what it takes to ensure a golf holiday of a lifetime for our clients. Richard has had a broad range of travel experience both in Australia and his native homeland of England. His support of Liverpool is accepted by most in the office and his refined English accent adds polish to the GOLFSelect team!

Janet Bowman Corporate Golf

Janet is an accomplished end to end Project Manager (qualified PRINCE 2) with experience in delivering to client expectations and budgets. After working for large companies delivering software products, she has combined her love of golf and organising - a natural progression into Event Management. Janet is focussing on servicing and growing our multi-national golf day clients as well as the large number of fundraising organisations who use GOLFSelect to help raise funds using golf as the vehicle. Janet is also passionate about our GolfDayPro Event Management software to help organisations manage their day more effectively. Janet is a member of a Melbourne Sandbelt club and is aspiring to become a single figure handicap golfer.

Chloe Chapman Corporate Golf Specialist

Chloe works closely with Janet as part of our corporate golf team. Her extensive experience with our GolfDayPro Event Management software provides valuable support for the hundreds of clients who use this technology to manage their golf day. Chloe is based in Queensland and is a key member of our team.

Linda Falconer Golf Holiday Specialist

Linda works closely with Matthew and Richard as part of our golf holiday team. Her bubbly enthusiasm and calm demeanour is great for the office environment. Linda is also a member of a Melbourne Sandbelt course and loves getting out for a game when time permits.

Brad Sullivan Online Strategy

Brad has worked with GOLFSelect for a number of years, developing the backend systems that keep GOLFSelect functioning. Brad has been instrumental in the development of a number of our systems including our backend holiday itinerary system as well as the highly popular GolfDayPro Event Management System, a Software as a Service system used by many companies around the world to administer their golf days.
