Established in 1998, GOLFSelect has grown to become Australia's
leading corporate golf and golf
holiday organiser, offering unrivalled access to Australia's
best golf courses.
GOLFSelect organises corporate
golf events throughout Australia and New Zealand and count
amongst our clients many of Australia's largest and most respected
companies. We also specialise in organising charity golf events
for major Australian charities, such as the Heart Foundation,
Southern Health, and the Mental Illness Fellowship.
Our recently launched GOLFSelect Business Network offers companies and individuals the opportunity to play the top private Melbourne Sandbelt courses on a regular basis with 9 scheduled events each year held every 4 to 6 weeks.
GOLFSelect is also a golf holiday specialist.
Our relationships with Australia's best golf courses, plus our
extensive international network of golf travel partners, allows
us to organise unique and never-to-be-forgotten golf holidays
both within and outside Australia.

Key Personnel
GOLFSelect is made up of a highly energetic team that is dedicated
to being your service provider of choice for corporate golf and
golf travel.
Gary Lisbon (Managing Director and Owner)
Gary is the owner and managing director of GOLFSelect. A chartered
accountant by profession, Gary worked as a financial controller
at a large Australian corporation before being approached to
join with Ian Baker-Finch and Steven Bann in the Pure Golf
Academy.
During his time at Pure Golf, Gary saw the opportunity to
offer big business a more substantial and quality focused product
offering relating to corporate golf both in terms of supply
of product and event management of corporate events.
Gary's other passion is golf
course photography and he is gaining a well deserved
reputation for producing quality images of many of Australia's
top golf courses. The GOLFSelect wallpaper
series features one of Gary's images each week and is
a very popular part of the website. Also a dedicated website located at www.golfphotos.com.au provides more information about Gary's photography. The latest initiative has been the recent release of a high quality, coffee table book titled "Great Golf Down Under" which showcases photos that Gary has taken of 75 golf courses throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Gary has also been fortunate enough to play many of the world's
top 100 golf courses (and in fact is slowly nearing his
goal of playing all 100) and loves showcasing the great courses
of Australia to overseas visitors. He is also a member of the illustrious US GOLF Magazine World Top 100 ranking panel which determine the courses which make up this highly regarded listing.

Matthew Ridge (Golf Travel Manager)
Matthew has been with GOLFSelect for over 6 years and heads up our Golf Holiday division.
After completing his Commerce degree in Accounting, Matthew started his own Sports Memorabilia business before he joined the team of GOLFSelect.
Arranging group itineraries to the many world class golfing destinations, as well as getting access onto the most private of golf courses is one of Matthew's key tasks.
Matthew loves watching and playing sport and is a very passionate golfer. His most memorable golfing moments to date include having a hole in one and visiting Augusta National GC to watch the US Masters!
Katherine Rowles (Corporate Golf)
Katherine (likes to be known as Kat) heads up our Corporate Golf area. Kat's primary role is doing all the
behind the scenes work in preparation for our golf days to
make sure all our golf days run smoothly as well as attend on the day to deliver the event to the client.
Kat has recently completed a diploma in events management and was the top student in her class. She brings with her a wealth of experience, an enthusiastic attitude and good sense of humour.
Megan Rothwell-Jones (Executive Golf and Marketing)
Megan brings to GOLFSelect a wealth of experience in the golf marketplace. Her extensive resume includes an extended time at a leading corporate golf venue as Corporate Golf Manager, owning and running her own sports consultancy business, working as a PR Director for a leading PR consultancy and in 2001 was involved in the Accenture World Matchplay – working to help co-ordinate the very successful caddy program.
Megan heads up our Executive Golf and Marketing Departments.
Maureen Lisbon (Financial Controller)
Maureen is our Financial Controller and oversees everything
from a financial point of view.
Maureen has a wide range of experience in many different areas
having worked for a number of major financial and accounting
institutions and her wealth of accounting experience ensures
that the GOLFSelect books are in order at all times.
Emma Beauclerc (Queensland Consultant)
Emma is a former Girl Champion of the Greg Norman Junior Golf
Foundation and has 8 years experience within the golfing industry.
Emma has worked at many of the top Gold Coast resort courses
and has done the lot – golf cart staff, golf and sport
administrator, corporate golf organiser, and for the past 5
years has coordinated golfing and sporting adventure tours.
Emma knows the golfing industry inside out. She currently plays
off a handicap of 12 but assures us that this year it will
be down to 8. Emma loves to talk footy, be it AFL or NRL (the
Roosters are her favourite), and plays golf, touch footy, netball,
and any other sport she can get her hands on.
Tim O'Brien (Internet Consultant)
Tim is a principal consultant with Web
Strategy Resources, one of Australia'a leading Internet
consulting companies. Tim has 18 years' diverse
industry experience, with a strong focus on the strategic
use of information technology. He is the author or co-author
of several books, including Exploiting
the Internet: a practical guide for growing enterprises (2004).
Tim is assisting us to achieve our aim of becoming the most
comprehensive and user-friendly golf website in Australia.
His business partner Tim Scott has over 15 years experience in IT and is regarded as one of Australia's leading Internet technologists. Prior to establishing WineBoss, Tim worked for leading IT consulting firms in the United States and Australia. He has completed assignments for major Australian and international enterprises including Boeing, American Airlines, Credit Suisse First Boston, JBWere, Australian Unity, iSelect, Fosters Group, Health Insurance Commission, and South Pacific Tyres.
Both Tim’s are assisting us to achieve our aim of becoming the most comprehensive and user-friendly golf website in Australia.
Connie Sottile (Manager)
